Gift and Rock Shop

 

This is a picture of the first Gift and Rock shop which was burnt down in 1975 from a lightning fire.  This gift shop as well as the current gift shop is well stocked and specializes in rocks and minerals, antique iron ware and a general line of souvenirs.  Mining equipment which was used since 1870 is also on display.  Visitors are given hard hats and raincoats in this buiding before beginning the guided underground tour.
