We are a seasonal business. Every year we open Friday of Memorial Weekend until Oct. 15th, 7 days a week.
Gift Shop is open from 9 to 5 unless no last tour at 4:10, the Gift Shop will close at that time.
The Reality of Mining Iron
The two miners on the right are demonstrating the Double Jack method of drilling used when this mine began in 1870.
The miner at the left is operating a working Water Liner drill which is used today.
